Engagement: Ivan & Nicole
Darby House – Galloway, Ohio
Ivan and Nikki are looking forward to their June wedding and we all hope it will be much warmer than their engagement session! 🙂 They braved the elements with frequent indoor breaks to warm up, but by the end of their session the gusts of wind and bitter cold were about all we could take! Ivan and Nikki chose to have their engagement session on the beautiful acreage of the Darby House, also known as Darby Dan Farms, where their wedding will also be held. They have already begun making memories at this location and will have many more special memories at this farm in 2017!
Congratulation, Ivan and Nikki! I’m excited for your upcoming wedding!
Engagement: Trent & Kelsey
Trent and Kelsey were high school sweethearts and now they are planning to tie the knot in June of 2017! They wanted a classic/romantic feel to their session, so we chose to use the outdoor area at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
Blessing to you, Trent and Kelsey, as you plan for wedding and marriage together! Take time to enjoy and soak in all the moments!
Engagement: Jonathan & Morgan
If I were to describe Jonathan and Morgan’s engagement session in two words they would be…breathtakingly romantic. Watching them together as the sunlight shone on them was simply gorgeous!
Jonathan and Morgan are planning a February, 2017 wedding! Enjoy the next couple months of planning…savor each moment!
Engagement: Evan & Erin
Evan and Erin are looking forward to their wedding in July, 2017! Their engagement session had the perfect mix of country, rustic barn browns and fall colors, and to top it off Evan’s classic Farmall tractor! The rainy day and cloud cover cleared up with a beautiful break in the clouds right at the end of their session.
Evan and Erin, I’m looking forward to capturing the special memories of your wedding day!!
Engagement: Matthew & Brittany
Inniswood Metro Gardens
Matt and Brittany grew up going to school together, in fact, Brittany told me she liked Matt in Kindergarten. 🙂 Fast forward a few years and now Matt and Brittany are looking forward to tying the knot in November!
Matt and Brittany fit together perfectly…he’s easy going, loves to make Brittany laugh and enjoys having fun. Brittany is gentle, somewhat quiet, and is also easy going.
During their session Matt played his guitar and sang. I asked him if he’s going to sing at their wedding. He said didn’t think so because he’d be too nervous. From what I heard, he’d do great regardless of the nerves!
Matt and Brittany make spending time together a priority…they enjoy taking walks, talking, and even hunting!Â
Engagement: Stephen & Erin
M.L “Red” Trabue Nature Reserve, Dublin Ohio
Every love story is unique. Stephen and Erin’s began with a bit of prodding from family and friends and a coupon to give an online dating site a try…and as they say “the rest is history!”
Stephen and Erin have combined their love for various outdoors activities and adventure to include camping, kayaking and 4-wheeling! They also enjoy cooking and building things together. In fact, Stephen built the arch they will be getting married under on October 1!
Every ring is special, but when the center diamond is from a grandmother it seems to have an extra special sentiment to it. I’d say Stephen did an excellent job of choosing a setting to incorporate his grandmother’s diamond!I love Erin’s smile! Somehow you can just sense her happiness and comfort with Stephen, right?
Stephen and Erin’s personalities are somewhat different. Stephen is one that has never met a stranger and Erin is more quiet and reserved until she gets to know someone. Although different, their personalities compliment each other well in multiple aspects.  Erin shared, “With Stephen everything felt natural and it was very easy to open up to him. We fit together very well.”
“Hold me tight and let me know that whatever happens you’ll never let go.” -Unknown
Proposal: Brandon & Denise
Brandon and Denise are GETTING MARRIED!!! Brandon popped the question during a picnic dinner at a quiet little spot beside the Little Darby Creek. Denise’s reactions to the surprise are priceless! Congratulations!!
In the picture below Brandon is showing Denise where his brother, Jeremy and I were hiding on the other side of the creek behind a log. It was a bit of an adventure to get to the spot, but it was a lot of fun and special to be a part of the surprise! Â
Engagement: Matt & Ashley
I absolutely love how unique Matt and Ashley’s session ended up being. Sure, they wanted snow on the ground in their pictures, but little did we know with only a 40% chance of snow in the forecast that it would actually snow rather hard during their session!
Matt and Ashley’s love story began about five years ago when they worked together at the Cheese House…one thing led to another and now they are planning an October wedding!Â
Matt would describe Ashley as whimsical and high spirited.
Ashley would describe Matt’s personality as strong and thoughtful.
I loved the artistic ice in the creek bed…it lends to the beauty of Ashley’s unique ring.
Matt and Ashley enjoy cooking in cast iron skillets, disk golf and campfires. A fire would have been fitting after their session at a frigid 15 degrees!
Engagement: Seth & Lori
Stauf’s Coffee Roasters and Franklin Park Conservatory
Seth and Lori love doing coffee, so it seemed fitting to make a stop at Stauf’s Coffee Roasters in Grandview for a few of their engagement pics.
Because of the cold weather outdoors, we did a few indoor shots at the Franklin Park Conservatory…
Then we headed outside for a few more pictures…and of course it started to snow!
I found out that Seth and Lori had been practicing the “dip”…they totally nailed it! They’ll definitely be ready for their wedding pictures in August!!
