Wedding: Matthew & Brittany
Matt and Brittany are a super sweet couple and their wedding was Christ-centered and touching. I don’t very often find myself tearing up at weddings, but there was something sentimental and special in the emotions I witnessed.
Allow me to give you a glimpse into their day…
Brittany got ready at the church where the ceremony would take place…also where they both attend. Their first look and portraits were at a nearby park in Dublin, M.L. Red Trabue Nature Reserve. Although it was a bit chilly the sun was shining brightly! I love the unique zig-zag docks at the park. One of the twins didn’t want to be photographed, but it made for some fun memories and pictures! The basement of their church was transformed beautifully into an elegant reception! The story behind the pictures below…Brittany’s dad presented Matt with a gift. Inside the package was her well-worn blanket to take along! The groomsmen pulled a trick on Matt and Brittany and had this old van ready for them as their “getaway vehicle.” Matt and Brittany were able to find their decorated car to leave in instead! 🙂 Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Troyer!
Special thanks to Deborah of DG Photography for second shooting for me. As always, it was awesome working with you!
Senior: Thomas
Class of 2017
Thomas is a senior at Jonathan Alder High School. He enjoys computers, math, and making people laugh. Something I learned about Thomas was his love for Skyview Ranch, a summer camp where he has spent quite a bit of time working over the summers. In fact, Thomas and I got to chat a bit about cameras because he’s helped with the photography/media at Skyview Ranch!
Thomas, it was a pleasure to spend the evening with you and your family. Don’t loose that bright smile you have!
Engagement: Trent & Kelsey
Trent and Kelsey were high school sweethearts and now they are planning to tie the knot in June of 2017! They wanted a classic/romantic feel to their session, so we chose to use the outdoor area at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
Blessing to you, Trent and Kelsey, as you plan for wedding and marriage together! Take time to enjoy and soak in all the moments!
Wedding: Matt & Ashley
Matt and Ashley’s wedding took place on a chilly, but beautiful autumn day. The locations we used for their portraits had a great mix of eye-catching fall foliage and wispy green willow trees.
The original plan was to have an outdoor reception, but the cool temps for the day brought it indoors. Regardless of it being indoors it was elegantly decorated and stunning! I admire Matt and Ashley’s approach to their day. They didn’t allow themselves to get all caught up in the stress of the extra details, and yet they still cared about making their day special and enjoying it to the fullest. I’ll allow the pictures to give you a glimpse into the story of their day…
Special thanks to Deborah of DG Photography for second shooting!
Engagement: Jonathan & Morgan
If I were to describe Jonathan and Morgan’s engagement session in two words they would be…breathtakingly romantic. Watching them together as the sunlight shone on them was simply gorgeous!
Jonathan and Morgan are planning a February, 2017 wedding! Enjoy the next couple months of planning…savor each moment!
Senior: Austin
Class of 2017
Austin was great to have in front of my camera lens! In fact, I asked him which magazine he wants his picture on the cover of?!! 🙂 Austin is a senior at Shekinah Christian School. Skateboarding, soccer, and guitar are his thing, but what I was most blessed by during his session was hearing about his relationship and commitment to Christ.
Senior: Evan
Class of 2017
Evan is a senior at St. Charles Preparatory School. His plans after graduations are to attend college and major in business with a degree in finance and accounting. One thing that was so notable about Evan’s session was his smile! In fact, making a serious face brought a smile to his face! 🙂 When I was told that Evan is funny, mild mannered and one of his favorite places to hang out is at home with his family, it all fit together….I love it! I could tell he’s a great guy!
Senior: John
Class of 2017
John is a senior at St. Charles Preparatory School in Columbus. He has a good sense of humor and one of his favorite places to be is house-sitting at his aunt’s, which I might add, is where his country-setting pictures were taken! Such a beautiful place! What else about John? He loves to ride his dirt bike and race in Motocross events. It was neat to see how comfortable John was when we took pictures with his dirt bike…it’s his thing…it’s what he loves to do!
