Senior: Payton
Class of 2017
Some people take years to figure out what they want to do in life (me for one!) and others somehow just know what they want to do. Payton is one of those people I watch in wonder! When she was in sixth grade she did a report for school, and at that point decided she wants to be airplane pilot. Soon after that she started taking lessons, and now she has her pilot’s license! She’s not exactly sure how everything will play out in her future, but at this point her desire is to continue pursuing flight.
For now, Payton is working on finishing up her senior year at Jonathan Alder High School. For her session she was most concerned about having her plane in the pictures, too! The gusts of wind were pretty strong and nearly non-stop during her session, so we moved to an airplane hangar for some of the pictures. I loved having a new and unique location to shoot, and you could tell Payton was in her happy place with her airplane!
Senior: Christopher
Class of 2017
Chris is a senior at Shekinah Christian School. This is the same school my sons attend, so I’ve been able to learn a bit more about Chris and I can tell you that he’s a kind, considerate, and sincere guy…someone you’d want your sons to look up to. Chris has a wide range of talents that include piano, violin, and basketball, to name a few! It’s evident he want to use his talents and abilities to bring glory to God.
Blessings to you, Chris, as you allow God to lead you in the adventures He has planned for your life!
Senior: Thomas
Class of 2017
Thomas is a senior at Jonathan Alder High School. He enjoys computers, math, and making people laugh. Something I learned about Thomas was his love for Skyview Ranch, a summer camp where he has spent quite a bit of time working over the summers. In fact, Thomas and I got to chat a bit about cameras because he’s helped with the photography/media at Skyview Ranch!
Thomas, it was a pleasure to spend the evening with you and your family. Don’t loose that bright smile you have!
Senior: Austin
Class of 2017
Austin was great to have in front of my camera lens! In fact, I asked him which magazine he wants his picture on the cover of?!! 🙂 Austin is a senior at Shekinah Christian School. Skateboarding, soccer, and guitar are his thing, but what I was most blessed by during his session was hearing about his relationship and commitment to Christ.
Senior: Evan
Class of 2017
Evan is a senior at St. Charles Preparatory School. His plans after graduations are to attend college and major in business with a degree in finance and accounting. One thing that was so notable about Evan’s session was his smile! In fact, making a serious face brought a smile to his face! 🙂 When I was told that Evan is funny, mild mannered and one of his favorite places to hang out is at home with his family, it all fit together….I love it! I could tell he’s a great guy!
Senior: John
Class of 2017
John is a senior at St. Charles Preparatory School in Columbus. He has a good sense of humor and one of his favorite places to be is house-sitting at his aunt’s, which I might add, is where his country-setting pictures were taken! Such a beautiful place! What else about John? He loves to ride his dirt bike and race in Motocross events. It was neat to see how comfortable John was when we took pictures with his dirt bike…it’s his thing…it’s what he loves to do!
Senior: Samantha
Class of 2017
Samantha attends Westerville Central High School and is looking forward to heading to the University of Montana for college where she’ll study Wildlife Biology. During her session I learned that she LOVES the outdoors, playing softball and most of all her dog! In fact, I think she would have taken all of her pictures with her dog if mom would’ve let her. 🙂 In addition to her care for wildlife, Samantha is a funny, kind, and loyal person. Samantha would like to someday work for the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Senior: Matthew
Class of 2017
Matthew is a senior at Jonathan Alder High School. You’ll see in some of the pictures below that he plays the trombone…he’s actually the Jonathan Alder Co-Student Director of the band! (Pretty impressive, if you ask me! 🙂 ) In addition to the trombone, he also plays piano and has been very active in 4H livestock and woodworking projects. Matthew is easy-going and yet focused and goal oriented. He plans to study Mathematics with a focus in Actuarial Science after high school.
Senior: Dylan
Class of 2017
Dylan is in his senior year at London High School! He enjoys running and is currently on the Cross Country team. He also has an interest in photography and travel (I love hearing this!), and he’s planning to attend Columbus Sate after high school. Dylan, the Lord bless you as you follow His plans for you!
Speaking of travel…Dylan got this backpack while visiting friends in Morocco.
