Class of 2017

Sometimes God crosses our paths with people and they become a part of our lives in ways we never expected.  Cheyanne and her sister, Savannah, are two of these special people in my life.  I’ve been privileged to watch them learn and grow in their lives and in their relationships with God.  Their lives haven’t always been easy, but through the journey they’ve relied on God and become strong.

Cheyanne, congratulations in making it to your senior year!  You are a goal oriented person and you work hard to accomplish those goals!  As you look forward to the future this is my prayer for you from Ephesians 1:16-19…”I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.  I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him.”

Makayla is getting ready to start her senior year at London High School!  Something I noticed about Makayla is that she’s not just beautiful, but she has such a sweet spirit…she even gave me a hug at the end of her session!  (Makes me enjoy my job even more!)  Her friends would describe her as tenderhearted, funny and mischievous.

Recently, Makayla went on a mission trip to Africa.  You never know how God is going to use an experiences like this to direct our interests and desires to change our lives.   After high school Makayla is considering nursing, and since returning from her trip she’s pursuing an internship in Africa!   It will be fun to watch where God leads and uses Makayla!

Makayla’s session started with some rain.  We waited it out and prayed that God would pour His blessing over this session!  Praise God it cleared up and the sun even broke through the clouds a couple time during the evening!

Hannah was so wonderful to have in front of the camera!  Her sweet, easy going and fun-loving personality was so evident and she literally glowed in the sunlight the evening of her session!

Hannah is a country girl at heart and loves horseback riding.  She will start her senior year at Fairbanks High School this fall, and hopes to pursue nursing after graduation.

I love these creek shots!  Hannah you are beautiful!! Hannah has been involved in FFA through all of her high school years.  She has received the Green Hand Degree, Chapter Degree, and State Degree, and hopes to attain the American Degree while in college.   She raises and sells chickens and turkeys for both FFA and 4-H.

Just in case you wondered, these are Hannah’s REAL eyelashes…no fakes here!

Nathan kicked off the 2017 senior portrait season!  This fall he will enter his senior year at Fairbanks High School.
