Wedding: Mychal and Brooke
Mychal and Brooke’s spring wedding day came with a mix of weather, but that certainly did not dampen the joy of the day! The ceremony took place at their church, Agape Community Fellowship, and the reception was at the National Guard Armory, both in Marysville, Ohio. The rain and snow forced us to stay inside for most of the pictures, but we braved the elements for a few quick shots on our way to the reception, and to do the dove release and flower petal exit…the falling snow added a unique “confetti” to the pictures! 🙂
Congratulations, Mychal and Brooke! The Lord bless you as you serve Him together.
Special thanks to Deborah of DG Photography for second shooting…I love working with you and the special touch you add to your pictures!
Doves: Mark Hochstetler…if you would like to have doves released at a special event or wedding, contact Mark! His doves are ready to travel! 🙂
Wedding: Jeff & Stephanie
Months ago when Jeff and Stephanie planned their wedding for February, 2014, little did they know that we’d be in the middle of one of the longest and hardest winters for a very long time! But wouldn’t you know, they hit one of the most beautiful days possible during the entire winter! Unbelievable! It was gorgeous…the sun was shining and it was just warm enough that being outside was doable!
The ceremony and reception took place in the Maple Room at the Westerville Community Center. The room had tall windows, which made for beautiful lighting!
Jeff and Stephanie, the Lord bless you as you start your married life and seek to live for Him! Love and hugs!
Wedding: Anthony & Ryann
Anthony and Ryann’s day was so much fun! As a photographer I rank this day at the top! I mean who can beat a bride willing to take pictures with temperatures in the 20s and snow on the ground?! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Cold, but beautiful! 🙂
I think this time I will just let the pictures speak for themselves to tell you the story of their day…
Second Shooter: DG Photogrpahy ~ Thanks so much, Deborah, I love working with you!
Ceremony: Parkview United Methodist Church
Reception: Dock 580, Smith Brothers’ Hardware Co. ~ Columbus, Ohio
Wedding: Kirby & Heather
Kirby and Heather’s day began early with breakfast at Sunny Street Cafe. It was important to Heather to have lots of candid photos of their day and she wanted to capture a little alone time before the hustle and bustle of their day…what a neat memory for them!
Then we were off to the church where both the wedding and reception were held. The natural beauty of winter was brought indoors with evergreen trees lining the entryway and as a backdrop on the stage. The K & H Coffeehouse was a fun treat for the guests accompanied by a delicious lunch of soup and salad bar. Kirby and Heather had a lovely day surrounded by family and friends. They had a “sweet” exit to their reception…little snowflake candies were thrown at them.
Congratulations, Kirby and Heather!
Special thanks to Deborah Beachy for assisting me for the day.
Ceremony & Reception: Maranatha Community Fellowship
Hair & Makeup for Heather: Stacy Troyer
Wedding: Ory & Brooke {Heritage Golf Club – Hiliard, Ohio}
Ory and Brooke had an absolutely beautiful day for their September wedding! They are such a sweet couple…it was a delight to be a part of their day. I’m excited to share with you a glimpse into the story of their day!
Ory and Brooke, I wish you the best and the Lord blessings in your marriage! Congratulations!
Wedding: Stephen & Amber
Stephen and Amber had a beautiful spring day for their wedding. Amber was super organized and no detail went unnoticed, as you will see in some of the pictures below! Stephen and Amber chose to take their pre-ceremony pictures in Marysville, which was a great setting. An extra special touch to the ceremony was Stephen’s grandpa officiating the ceremony and performing the wedding vows. The outdoor reception entailed many details, delicious food, and wonderful desserts! Congratulations, Stephen & Amber!
Special thanks to Deborah Beachy of DGPhotography for assisting me for the day!
Wedding: Thomas & Jacquelene
Wedgewood Country Club ~ Powell, Ohio
Thomas and Jacquelene are a great couple and I feel blessed to have been able to photograph their day! The day started out rainy and kept us indoors for all of the pictures before the ceremony. 🙁 Thankfully, it cleared up and we were able to step outside for a few extra shots on the beautiful Wedgewood Country Club grounds!
As I’ve gotten to know Thomas and Jacqulene it is evident that they desire to honor God with their lives. Just being around them is an encouragement! Thomas and Jacquelene, I wish you the Lord’s blessing as you serve Him together!
Special thanks to Jenell Shrock for being my second shooter for the day!
Wedding: Kevin & Gayle
Kevin and Gayle are MARRIED!! Their day was beautiful…sunny, spring blossoms, and a wonderful couple!
Congratulations, Kevin and Gayle! The Lord bless you as you serve Him together.
Special thanks to Jenell Shrock for assisting me for the day.
Wedding: Hans & Emily
Hans and Emily are MARRIED! Their day was crisp and even a bit chilly at times. The fall colors, mixed with dark clouds and the occasional breaks of sunlight made for some unique picture backdrops. Not a detail of the decor was missed, from the handmade thank you cards to the chocolate-dipped cake balls at each guests’ place setting. However, amid all the beautiful details, one could not miss Hans and Emily’s love for each other or their love for the Lord. Their ceremony was a true worship service and glory to God.
A unique “snippet” from their day took place while we were taking some of their portraits in old Dublin. While Hans and Emily stood on the street corner waiting to cross, many people drove by them and honked their horns loudly to wish them their “Congratulations!” The honking well-wishes added some fun to the celebration of their day. 🙂 (See the “car” pictures below.)
Special thanks to Marlisa Beachy for assisting me for the day. I love having a second shooter to see the details of the day from another vantage point.
