Senior: Alan {Class of 2014}
Alan is looking forward to graduation in the spring! He was great to work with and had a willing smile. 🙂 Alan, the Lord bless you as you serve Him in the adventures He has planned for you!
Senior: JB — Class of 2014
I’ve learned that some guys like being in front of the camera and others simply get their pictures taken because their moms want senior pictures. 🙂 While JB was probably in the latter group, he said he actually enjoyed his session! That’s what I like to hear!! JB was totally in his element for his session: country, boots, truck, 4-wheeler…the perfect place for his session where he’s comfortable and enjoys life!
JB, I hope you have a great senior year! Trust the Lord to lead you on the ride He has ahead for your future! Blessings.
Senior: Joy
Joy is a SENIOR!! I’m not quite sure how to begin telling you about this special person… Joy is truly beautiful inside and out. She’s caring, compassionate, a good listener, an encourager, sensible, fun, has a bright smile, and is my niece! 🙂 I’ve had the privilege of watching Joy grow up and through the years I’ve seen her strong spirit and trust in God even when she was a little girl and battling cancer. I praise the Lord for His healing in her body and direction in her life!
Joy, I know the Lord has special plans ahead for you…enjoy the adventure and trust His leading!
I like the quote Joy shared with me, “To love another person is to see the face of God.” ~Les Mis
Senior: Tyler — Class of 2013
Let me introduce you to Tyler! Tyler is a great guy who is hard working, loves being outdoors to hunt, and likes playing basketball. I enjoyed taking Tyler’s senior portrait, because he was great in front of the camera…a natural at posing, which is wonderful for the photographer! Most of his pictures were taken where he lives…some in his backyard and at lakes nearby. It is a beautiful area!
When Tyler was asked what is something he’s never done, but someday hopes to do, his answer was, “Get married to a smoking hot girl.” 🙂 I’m glad I knew this before his session, because when I would mention it he’d smile!
Tyler, I know you’re looking forward to grad next spring…enjoy your senior year and God bless you as He leads you in the future!
Senior: Michaela — Class of 2013
Michaela…a beautiful person inside and out! Her friends say that she’s funny—even when she’s not trying to be, and usually the one to come up with the crazy ideas for a fun time!
When I asked Michaela what’s one thing that she’s never done but would love to do someday, she said she’d like to compete in The Amazing Race. I hope she can do this someday, however, if she doesn’t get a chance to be on the tv show, life tends to be a bit like an amazing race, wouldn’t you agree?! We don’t know what’s ahead, but we need to follow God’s map (the Bible) and His leading in whatever adventures He has for us. I think Michaela already understands this, because when I asked her about her plans after graduation she shared, “I plan on going to college and meeting new people and enjoying the change in life. Whatever I do, I plan on glorifying God through it.”
Michaela, enjoy the amazing race God has ahead for you! Even through the bumps, turns, and Lord willing smooth roads ahead may you sense God’s hand leading you each step of the way. Blessings to you!
Senior: Alex — Class of 2012
A few weeks ago Alex needed a few “extra” senior portraits for various reasons, so I was privileged to spend a bit of time with Alex and his mom to take Alex’s second senior portrait session! 🙂 It’s amazing the spots you can find “close to home” that provide a unique setting for a portrait.
Anyway…let me introduce you to Alex! Alex is graduating Friday—way to go! He loves to play golf and is planning to attend Cedarville University in the fall to play golf and major in Pre-Physical Therapy. Alex shared that he can be shy, but when he’s around his friends he can be very loud and spontaneous! Alex also said that his favorite place to hang out is—home! I think that’s great!
Many blessings to you, Alex, as you follow the Lord’s leading and enjoy the adventures He has ahead for you!
Senior: James — Class of 2012
I’m delighted to have taken James’ senior portraits. He did a great job and even showed his great smile when I asked him to! 🙂 James is graduating this Friday from Shekinah Christian School, and then plans to head off to college to possibly pursue a major in Computer Science.
A few interesting things about James…
–When I asked him how his friends would describe his personality he said, “Funny and chill.” I love it!
–James hopes to someday visit New Zealand.
–How does he like to spend his time? Hanging out with friends!
James, as you look ahead to the future I encourage you to keep your relationship with the Lord strong and allow Him to guide you and use you! Many blessings to you!
Senior: Luke — Class of 2012
Luke is one of those guys that at first glance may appear to be quiet, but ask his friends how they would describe his personality and they might use the word “gregarious”—social!
His favorite place to hang out??? The gym! Luke loves basketball and led the Shekinah Flames to District Finals this year! I can still remember watching Luke as a tiny, little guy (we’re talking 6 years old or so) shooting baskets and practicing his three-point shot—with success! His many, many hours of practice and shooting baskets has paid off as he now hopes to use his talent at the collegiate level by playing for the Mt. Vernon Nazarene University Cougars.
Blessings to you, Luke, as you follow the Lord’s leading for your life!
Senior: Jonathan — Class of 2012
Jonathan is my little cousin…however, not so little anymore! In fact, he passed me up in height a few years ago! It was fun watching Jonathan grow up. As a little boy he had a very vivid imagination…I can still remember him playing cowboys and Indians with a lot of action and drama! 🙂
Jonathan has a great sense of humor and can always add a bit of humor to each situation. He enjoys spending time with friends and loves basketball. Over the years I’ve enjoyed looking out my window and watching him next door spend hours upon hours practicing his game. His perseverance and dedication is evident in one of his favorite quotes, “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”
What’s ahead for Jonathan? He hopes to go to college, get an education, and see what God has planned for him in the future.
Enjoy the ride God has planned for you, Jonathan!
