Wedding: Anthony & Ryann
Anthony and Ryann’s day was so much fun! As a photographer I rank this day at the top! I mean who can beat a bride willing to take pictures with temperatures in the 20s and snow on the ground?! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Cold, but beautiful! 🙂
I think this time I will just let the pictures speak for themselves to tell you the story of their day…
Second Shooter: DG Photogrpahy ~ Thanks so much, Deborah, I love working with you!
Ceremony: Parkview United Methodist Church
Reception: Dock 580, Smith Brothers’ Hardware Co. ~ Columbus, Ohio
Senior: Janelle {Class of 2014}
Let me tell you a little about Janelle! You see, Janelle is my youngest cousin (yes, I’m the oldest!), so I have had the privilege of watching Janelle grow up…literally right next door. Janelle is outgoing, fun-loving, loves to sing, play basketball, and has a great desire to serve God…which makes me so proud of her!
When asked what her plans are after graduation this is what she shared, “I am hoping to go to college where I will major in Social Work, and hopefully sing in a worship group of some sort, or join the REACH program. Most of all, I just want to do what God wants me to, so that I can bring honor and glory to Him through my life…that’s my ultimate goal.”
While our family was vacationing in Florida we were able to find some time for a senior session on Siesta Key. What fun to have a new location and new look for senior portraits!
Janelle, the Lord bless you as you seek Him and serve Him. Love you much!
Wedding: Kirby & Heather
Kirby and Heather’s day began early with breakfast at Sunny Street Cafe. It was important to Heather to have lots of candid photos of their day and she wanted to capture a little alone time before the hustle and bustle of their day…what a neat memory for them!
Then we were off to the church where both the wedding and reception were held. The natural beauty of winter was brought indoors with evergreen trees lining the entryway and as a backdrop on the stage. The K & H Coffeehouse was a fun treat for the guests accompanied by a delicious lunch of soup and salad bar. Kirby and Heather had a lovely day surrounded by family and friends. They had a “sweet” exit to their reception…little snowflake candies were thrown at them.
Congratulations, Kirby and Heather!
Special thanks to Deborah Beachy for assisting me for the day.
Ceremony & Reception: Maranatha Community Fellowship
Hair & Makeup for Heather: Stacy Troyer
Birth Story: Bennett
I was absolutely honored to photograph the events below: maternity, birth, and newborn pics of baby Bennett.
When Andrea introduced the idea of taking her baby’s birth pictures I was SO excited! I began to pray that I wouldn’t miss it!
But before we get to the birth day, let me share a few of the maternity pics with you!
Then it was time!!! As I looked forward to photographing the birth and reminisced the birth of my own sons, I realized how quickly we forget the emotions and the pain of labor and delivery. It was good to be reminded of those precious moments that accompany the birth of a child.
I was thrilled to be with Marcus and Andrea on such a special day. Below are just a few pics that give a glimpse into Bennett’s birth day….
And a few of this precious little guy’s newborn pics…
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14
Senior: Katie {Class of 2014}
I enjoyed spending a bit of time with Katie for her senior session. Her love for God is evident in her sweet and gentle personality. What does Katie like? She likes to play basketball, frozen yogurt shops, and someday would like to travel to Europe!
Katie’s favorite quote is, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
Katie, enjoy your senior year and the journey the Lord has planned for your future! Blessings!
Senior: Alan {Class of 2014}
Alan is looking forward to graduation in the spring! He was great to work with and had a willing smile. 🙂 Alan, the Lord bless you as you serve Him in the adventures He has planned for you!
Engagement: Mychal & Brooke
Mychal and Brooke’s love story began over six years ago and they are looking forward to tying the knot in March, 2014! Mychal and Brooke’s personalities complement each other well. Mychal is a leader and has a huge heart for helping people. He’s laid back, funny and very competitive. Brooke is an organizer/planner, driven, loving and caring. She, like Mychal, is also very competitive!
When asked what Mychal loves about Brooke he shared, “I love that I can be my goofy, giddy self around her and the way she just laughs at me. I love the butterflies I get when I know I’m going to see her. I love how she makes me feel good about myself. I love her competitive nature and spit fire attitude and I love the thought of spending my life with her and starting a family. I love her Godly heart and her passion for kids.”
Brooke also shared what she loves about Mychal by saying, “I love his sense of humor and his laid back personality. I love that he is driven and goes after what he wants in life. I love his caring and kind heart, his gentleness and how he always looks out for other people, putting them first. I love that he loves surprising me with spur of the moment ideas like trips, concerts, and sporting events. I love that he supports me in everything I do.”
Wedding: Ory & Brooke {Heritage Golf Club – Hiliard, Ohio}
Ory and Brooke had an absolutely beautiful day for their September wedding! They are such a sweet couple…it was a delight to be a part of their day. I’m excited to share with you a glimpse into the story of their day!
Ory and Brooke, I wish you the best and the Lord blessings in your marriage! Congratulations!
Engagement: Kirby & Heather
Kirby and Heather have known each other since they were young, but a move during their childhood put many miles between them. A couple of years ago their long-distant friendship took on a new look when they began dating across the miles and cherishing any moment they got to spend together. The miles between their lives will soon come to an end when they get married in January, 2014!
Below you’ll see that Kirby and Heather chose to use the quaint German Village area for their pictures and read what they love about each other…
Kirby, what do you love about Heather? “I love the excitement she has for us and our future, she is constantly making plans or trying to figure something out that we will need or might want. I love her smile and how it lights up a room. I love how she cares about the little things. I love her spontaneous nature and how she can always make me feel comfortable and confident.”
Heather, tell us what you love about Kirby. “I love his heart for wherever God is calling him to. I love the commitment I know he has for me and the trust we share with each other. He always knows how to brighten my day and make sure I feel loved.”
